Growth in the packaging market
Wolfgang Gross joins the Wink team as "Head of Business Development Flatbed Tooling"
German tool maker Wink Stanzwerkzeuge GmbH & Co KG intends to continue growing in the packaging market. As of 1 July, Wolfgang Gross is responsible for strategic planning and further growth in the flatbed tooling division.
Wolfgang Gross is well known in the packaging industry. He has been active in the industry for more than thirty years and has held management positions in leading companies for many years. His expertise covers all areas of die-cutting technology as well as upstream and downstream processes.
In his new function as "Head of Business Development Flatbed Tooling" of the Wink Group, he reports directly to the Executive Board and will be primarily responsible for strategic orientation in the flatbed tooling division. Wink is a leading supplier of die-cutting tools for the graphic industry, with a focus on flexible dies, cylinders and steel rule dies for label converters.
In August 2019, Wink took over the Jeurink Group with sites in Veldhausen (Bandstahlschnitte Jeurink) and Munich (Imapack Stanzformen). In a way, this closes a circle (Wink was formed in 1989 from the family company Jeurink), and Wink is also focusing on growth with cutting dies for the packaging and folding box industry.
"We see great potential in the market for flatbed dies and are very pleased to have won over such an experienced expert in Wolfgang Gross, who is also an excellent fit for the team as a personality," says Alan de Natris, Managing Director of Wink.
Wolfgang Gross is also looking forward to his new tasks: "The Wink locations in Veldhausen and Munich are already excellently positioned and supply high-quality steel-rule dies. Together with my colleagues in production and sales, I would like to contribute to further optimizing the processes and continuing the growth course".
