Die-cutting tool manufacturer Wink has joined the Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie e.V. (FFI). The association represents the interests of around 60 companies that generate approximately two-thirds of the industry's turnover. The FFI supports its members with a variety of offers such as information events, seminars, guides, samples and checklists. "Membership in the FFI is very important for us with regard to our corporate development in a dynamic market. The professional exchange with other companies, the seminar offers and the cooperation in working groups, and thus active participation, are very important to us," says Wolfgang Gross, Head of Business Development Flatbed Tooling, explaining Wink's decision to join the FFI.

Folding boxes are mainly produced with steel rule dies. Wink is on a strong growth course in this product line. In 2019, the companies Jeurink Bandstahlschnitte and ImaPack Stanzformen were acquired. Extensive investments and modernisations followed. As a certified Bobst partner, Wink's focus is on high-performance tools for demanding folding box production.
Christian Schiffers, Managing Director of the FFI, is pleased about the new member: "With Wink, the FFI has once again gained a strong and well-known company that will enrich the association family with its expertise and commitment."
