German die-cutting tool manufacturer impresses with successful showcase

From March 14 to 16, the world's leading trade fair for the converting industry, the ICE Europe International, took place in Munich. The company Wink Stanzwerkzeuge from Neuenhaus presented itself there with a diverse product portfolio. The result was positive throughout: The well-visited booth earned a lot of praise, and the evaluation of the contacts was also very satisfactory, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

After a three-year break due to the pandemic, this was Wink's first participation in a trade fair in a long time. On more than 40 m², visitors were presented with a wide range of punching tools, with the focus on punching cylinders and applications in the automotive, medical, hygiene, packaging and industrial sectors. Special interest was shown in the two new non-stick coatings Non-Stick Grey SLC and Non-Stick Black PTFE. Visitors were able to see the outstanding properties of the two new developments for themselves on site by means of an adhesion test.

Another highlight was the folding carton unit on display. Small boxes could be produced and folded from sheets of cardboard using a hand crank. The two built-in die and matrix cylinders had an embossing function in addition to punching and creasing lines. Wink employees placed a small candy in the folded boxes as a guest gift.

Other products included rotary dies with blow-out and suction functions (AirTec & VacTec) as well as the matching accessories. The exhibits were supplemented by tools that are typically used in the packaging and label sector. For example, in addition to magnetic cylinders and die cutting plates, Wink also offers flatbed tools for autoplaten presses, which many visitors were not even aware of.
